Our fingertips and hands are highly sensitive and have the ability to experience textures, consistencies and temperatures. Remoteness to food, both in production and the way we cook and eat is one of the reasons why Swedes dispose 938 000 tonnes of food a year. To get closer to the food and to create a haptic experience during the meal we removed the cutlery from the table and replaced it with handmade ceramic bowls. A utensil made with our hands, cupped in our hands when drinking and eating.
